Lufthansa, a Germany airline announced if they would
end flights to Caracas, Venezuela, currently Lufthansa is operating flights
from Frankfurt to Caracas with the airline's four-engined Airbus A340-300 or
Airbus A340-600. The Lufthansa's last flight to Caracas will be occurred on
June 17, 2016. A Lufthansa spoke person said if the airline ended Caracas route
because of low demand and the airline is having trouble converting Venezuelan
currency. Not just Lufthansa, many major airlines like U.S. based American
Airlines and Delta Airlines, Air Canada from Canada, and an Italian airline,
Alitalia decided to cut flights to Venezuela.
